Later she joined for doctoral programme in 2002 under the supervision of prof. V. padmavathi,  Department of Chemistry, S.V. University, Tirupati. She has been awarded NSRCUI Fellowship, 1st rank in SVURESET EXAM (2002-2005), Junior Research Fellowship DST (2005-2006) , Senior Research Fellowship CSIR , New Delhi (2006-2007) and Research associate (2007-2008) in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore under the supervision of (late) Prof A.Srikrishna. In September 2009, she joined Department of Chemistry, Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore as Assistant Professor.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

The core area of our research group involves in development of short synthetic methodologies, lead optimizations for construction of target heterocyclic compounds which are pharmacologically active.

Heterocyclic Chemistry is the most challenging and rewarding field of study amongst various branches of chemistry. It holds special appeal to synthetic chemists because of its remarkable structural diversity and provides a fertile ground for developing and testing new synthetic strategies.

It also involves in development of novel, new reactions and strategies.

Areas of Interest:

 1. Design and development  of Pharmaceutically important Heterocyclic Compounds based on molecular modeling studies and structure activity relationships.

2. Bioorganic chemistry

3.  Exploration of new reagents and for selective organic transformations, including bio-transformations.

4. Development of C-C and C-N transformations  using different catalysts

5. Green Synthetic Methodologies
