Prof.Chilumuri Srinivasa Rao completed his M.Com from College of Arts and Commerce, Andhra University Visakhapatnam and qualified UGC NET-JRF in 1993. As a UGC-JRF scholar he awarded Ph.D. from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 1999. Later he completed M.B.A. in 2011 and DCA in 2015.

          He has 30 years of post graduate & graduate teaching and research experience. He has worked in various colleges viz. E.D.Cell, S.V.University as a Project Fellow and as a Lecturer in SEICOM Degree College, Tirupati & S.C.S.Kalasala, Gudlavalleru, Krishna District. He worked as Senior Lecturer and Reader in B.T.College, Madanapalle and as Associate Professor in Government Degree College (W), Srikalahasti. At present he was Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management VSU Nellore; Professor, Head, BOS chairman Dept. of Commerce, BOS chairman Dept.of Tourism Management; former Special officer VSU PG Centre Kavali and Executive Council Member for VSU University Nellore.

            He has published 13 Books i.e., Personality Development and Soft Skills;  Employment Generation and Poverty Alleviation; Demonetisation; E-Commerce and E-Banking; Urban Bus Passenger Transportation; Performance Appraisal of APSRTC; How Long to Wait for Social Justice; Dandora Ambedkar Abhistam and Madigala Charitra Samskruthi.

            He has published 37 Research articles in refereed and reputed International Journals and conferences proceedings and 11 articles in daily news papers /magazines. He has Presented Research papers /Attended 12 International Conferences and 40National Conferences. He participated in 11 National 2 International webinars.

            He completed one major research project sponsored by UGC, New Delhi and one minor project.  He organised three National Seminar sponsored by ICSSR. At present five scholars are working for Ph.D. and 4 scholars were awarded Ph.D. under his guidance. His areas of specilisation and research are Banking, Transportation, Financial Management and E-commerce.
