The Department of Microbiology is started in the year 2011. The department typically has given itself a broader scope to study the immune systems with intersections of studies of Microbiology Immunology, Viorology, Parasitology and such other relevant areas. Microbial beneficial processes in industrial fermentation, dairy products and antibiotic production apart from the lucrative field of microbiology are for contemplation and research for the Department.
