Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy , NSS Coordinator received Second National NSS Best Programme Coordinator Award from President of India Honourable Sri Ramnath Kovind for year 2017-18.

NSS Coordinator Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy received Second National NSS Best Programme Coordinator Award for the year 2017-18 from President of India Honourable Sri Ramnath Kovind along with Honourable Vic-chancellor Prof R. Sudarsana Rao . In This VC received Shield and Coordinator Received Certificate, Silver and 2 Lakhs cash prize. This is one of the prestigious award to the V S University, Nellore

H Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy, Programme Coordinator, NSS Unit of the University is awarded the Best Motivator Award for the year 2011 on the World Blood Donation day by the Additional Superintendent of Police Sri K. Nageswara Rao on 14th June 2011. The NSS unit is regularly organizing Blood Donation camps and also creating awareness among the students about the benefits in donating blood. During this year the Unit has arranged the Blood donation camps twice - in which students participated in good number and in the other camp teaching staff participated in blood donation

Vikrama Simhapuri University, inaugurated the four day long Unit- III Special Camp (Rural) at Narasimhaswamykonda Colony. The event was organized by the NSS Unit of the University on 5th March 2011. The NSS unit chose a remote village where the NSS Unit will start its hectic work of creating awareness in the villagers about sanitation, hygiene, and living conditions. In this activity the NSS Unit will be at the doorstep of the village community and will remain prompt and precise in mapping the economic, social and health-related concerns of the villages.
