Dr.Madhumathi Reddim, MSW, Ph.D. holds M.Sc. (Psy), M.Ed. Special Education (M.R), B.Ed.Spl.(M.R.), Diploma in Mental Retardation. She did gerontological social work, UGC recognized online course in Swayam(2019) . She joined as Assistant Professor in Department of Social Work,Vikrama Simhapuri University in the year 2012 , after 18 years of teaching experience in the cadre of Principal in RASS College of Special Education, Tirupati. Now she is working as Assistant Professor (senior grade) in Department of Social Work, Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. She has a distinct and outstanding academic record. She has published more than 26 papers in National and International journals and chapters in edited books. With her academic interest she has organized 2 National Level seminars and 13 National level workshops. And she presented 62 papers in International and National level seminars and conferences and participated 34 International and National level workshops. She gave several invited talks and chaired sessions in various National events. She is a Rehabilitation Social Worker registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi. She is one of the Course Writers for B.Ed.Special Education (M.R) and M.Ed.Special Education (M.R.) course materials to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. She has completed a Major Research Project (MRP)  on “Efficacy of Social Work Interventions for children with Autism Spectrum disorders and their families”  with the financial support of Indian Council of Social Science Research(ICSSR) during 2014 to 2016 . At present she is doing minor research Project on “Vocational Needs of Young adults with Intellectual Disabilities: A Community Based Study in Nellore district- Need for Social Work Intervention” with FRGS funds of the University. And 5 Research scholars are registered under her for doctorial degree.

Dr.Madhumathi Reddim secured second place on gerontology quiz competition organized by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, ( AIIMS), New Delhi  in August,2017. As VSU-MGNCRE (Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education) Coordinator, she is instrumental in getting One District and One Green Champion Award to Vikrama Simhapuri University and VSU Swachhata Team received award from Nellore District Collector, Shri.KVN.Chakradhar Babu,IAS on 30/07/2021. She is working as MGNCRE district resource person/sustainable mentor for Swatchhata Activities in Nellore District .She worked as Deputy Warden and at present working in various capacities in University administration  as Head of the department of Social Work and In-charge Head to Department of Education. She took charge as Additional Controller of Examinations (VSU-UG Courses) on 27^th February, 2022. She is Coordinator to Resource Mobilisation Centre and Assistant Coordinator to VSU Centre for Extension Activities and Unnath Bharath Abiyan Activities.Dr.Madhumathi is associated with IASSH,ISPSW,RCI,AGI and APA
