The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2008. The Department offers Master of Computer Applications(MCA) from 2008 and  Ph.D (Full Time  & Part Time) Programme from 2010.

To impart Quality education in the field of Computer Science and its Application areas to cater the needs of the IT Sector.

To become a centre of excellence in Computer Science education and to impart graduates with technical skills, research activities & empowering  them to address global challenges in the field of Information Technology.

1. To provide a strong theoretical and practical foundation to the graduates and enhancing their potentials to opt for a high quality career to the field of Computer Science discipline.
2. To amplify the technical skills in the graduates by cultivating research activities to the field of Computer Science including  interdisciplinary areas.
3. To imbibe value-based professional behavior and ethics in graduates and apply their knowledge to the benefit of the society.
